Prometheus Energy Group, a leader in LNG solutions for the industrial sector, announced today that Bradley R. Bodwell has joined the company in the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development.

Mr. Bodwell will be based at the company’s Houston headquarters and will report directly to Ron Bertasi, Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Bodwell will be responsible for strategic partnerships, major project development, and sales and marketing strategy for Prometheus Energy.

Prometheus Energy’s business is growing at a tremendous rate and continuing to innovate.  Our commitment in developing meaningful strategic partnerships as the industry evolves is one of the keys to our continued leadership in the emerging market for LNG as an industrial fuel,” says Ron Bertasi.  “Brad brings over 30 years of energy industry experience to our team.  His leadership skills, experience in business strategy development, and intellectual depth will be important assets to our company and our customers.”

Mr. Bodwell has three decades of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on strategy development, operations improvement and energy cost management in the industrial and commercial sectors.  Prior to joining Prometheus Energy, Mr. Bodwell co-founded and was Managing Director of EnergyEnviro Strategy Consulting, advising on major capital investment decisions and energy technology/service commercialization strategies.  During his extensive career, Mr. Bodwell has served in senior management positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President for A.T. Kearney in its operations practice and as a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton (since renamed Booz & Company).  Earlier, he worked on project development and project engineering and construction for AES and Bechtel Group.  Mr. Bodwell holds an MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School and a B.S.Ch.E. from Lehigh University.

“I’m excited to join a company that is leading the development of the industrial LNG market,” says Brad Bodwell.  “This is a brand new world for industrial companies seeking alternative fuels.  LNG will make their operations safer, cleaner and more cost effective.  I look forward to working with a talented organization and bringing creative solutions to our customers in a safe and reliable manner.”
