USA: Seven LNG Cargoes Imported in August

The U.S. imported seven liquefied natural gas cargoes  in August, according to the U.S. Department of Energy data.

Six cargoes were shipped from Trinidad and Tobago and one from Qatar.

Four cargoes were delivered to Everett LNG terminal while the Elba Island terminal received two cargoes.

The Freeport LNG terminal also received one cargo in August.

U.S. imports have been declining steadily as shippers send LNG to higher-paying markets in Europe and Asia.
