UTEC Announces Appointment of New Chief Surveyor (USA)

UTEC has announced the appointment of Ranald Blair as Chief Surveyor of the group.

Ranald will be located in UTEC’s new Aberdeen, Scotland office. He brings to the role a wealth of industry expertise gained from working in various locations around the world including Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Brazil and the US. A graduate of St Andrews University, Ranald also holds a Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying from the University of Plymouth.

Ranald said: “It is with pleasure and pride that I join UTEC’s team of professionals. I look forward with great enthusiasm to contributing to their proven ability in providing the consistent, quality services and products that are associated with the UTEC name.”

“My fundamental remit is the global standardization of operating procedures and products, and associated competency based training of our personnel across all UTEC operating companies. The intent is to further enhance the company’s ability to consistently deliver products of the same look, feel and quality – regardless of location.”
