Utiligensia to Work on Vattenfall’s Offshore Wind Projects

Utiligensia has been awarded a further contract by Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd, for the provision of interim commercial support to the Valuation & LEC Management team.

The work comprises finanical modelling, analysis and valuation services to German and UK offshore wind projects during development and construction phases. This includes the DanTysk offshore wind farm and Kentish Flats Extension.

DanTysk is a joint venture of Vattenfall (51%) and Stadtwerke München (49%). The wind farm has an installed capacity of 288 megawatts (MW) and will generate climate-neutral power equivalent to the consumption of up to 400,000 households.

Kentish Flats Extension, with an installed capacity of 49.5MW, will be capable of generating enough power in a year to meet the equivalent annual electricity demand of 35,000 households.
