VDS Offshore Construction Terminal Eemshaven Fully Operational

VDS Staal- en Machinebouw (VDS) announce that the second full-service terminal on the North Sea, VDS Offshore Construction Terminal Eemshaven, is fully operational.

It is located at the Orange Blue Terminals (OBT) which is a perfect base for offshore logistics in the North Sea. VDS strikes up cooperation with the major stakeholder of OBT – the German company Buss Port Logistics (BPL) – in Eemshaven as well as in Vlissingen.

VDS operates in the construction of offshore structures, bridge construction, shipbuilding and related activities. With the settlement of VDS at Eemshaven the Orange Blue Terminal offers the full range of services for the offshore sector from engineering and constructional steelwork to storage and heavy lifts of up to 1,200 tons.
