VIDEO: Future Ulyses Slips into the Water

 

Norwegian shipyard Kleven hosted a launching ceremony on Saturday, August 30 of the 107-meter long Exploration Support Vessel currently being built at Kleven Verft in Ulsteinvik.


The high specification vessel is designed especially for long expeditions in rough waters, and blends a robust, hard-working character with luxurious added extras.

The vessel is designed by Norwegian ship design company Marin Teknikk.

The vessel will be named Ulysses at an official naming ceremony scheduled for spring 2015.
