VIDEO: Peterbilt LNG Trucks, Powered by Westport 15L Engine

Westport and Peterbilt are partners with three models of natural gas tractors designed specifically for heavy hauling.

The trucks in this video are hauling raw milk, flour, concrete blocks and trash. The loads being pulled by Vedder Tansport weigh up to 140,000 lbs (63,000 kg) and are travelling up hills with a 6% grade with no difficulty.

The Westport 15L engine has same as diesel performance with engines available up to 475 horsepower and 1750 ft-lb of torque.
