Vietnam - Naming and Steel Cutting Ceremony at HV Shipyard

On 15th November 2011, simple Naming Ceremony for Hull No. S058 the 56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier took place at the bridge. At the ceremony, the vessel was officially named “Hanjin Rostock” under attendance of representatives from Owner – Hi Investment & Securities, Hanjin SM, KR and HVS.

Afterwards, the delivery documents were signed by and between representatives from both companies. MV “Hanjin Rostock” sailed out for its first voyage to Indonesia on the same day.

At another event, Steel Cutting Ceremony for Hull No. S052, the 56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier, was successfully organized at HVS Fabrication Shop.

Hull No. S052 is the 5th in the series of the 8 vessels contracted with Geden Lines (Turkey).

– Depth: 18.3 m

– Speed: 14.5 knots

– Cargo capacity: 70,700 m3

Launching for Hull No. S052 is scheduled in August, 2012.
