WB Shipholding Enters Time Charter Contract for Eco-Type Newbuilding

Western Bulk ASA, a dry bulk shipping company announced that its shipholding division, WB Shipholding, successfully has agreed to enter into an  additional Japanese lease time charter contract for 7 years with three 1-year extension options and annual purchase options from year 5.

The vessel is an Eco-Ultramax (61,000 dwt) from Japan. The charter will commence when the vessel is delivered from the yard in 2016.

Western Bulk operates a commercially fleet of over 135 vessels.
