Weihang Shipyard Completes Tests for Split Hopper Barge Macau 1000CUM (China)

The mud drain test of Macau 1000CUM self-propelled split hopper barge was conducted on Mar 01st 2012, following the trial voyage on Feb 10th 2012. Guangzhou XED Ship Design Co was authorized by Macau Entertainment Co.,Ltd to conduct complete design (including detailed and workshop design), the barge was built at Zhongshan Weihang Shipyard Co,Ltd.

It will serve in Macau coastal area, working together with bucket and grab dredgers to loan and unload sediment and gravel. Among all the previous types of split hopper barges designed by XED Ship Design, it is an another excellent product by XED.
