The Stove Friend and Stove Tide are the newest additions to the Stove fleet built by Tsuneishi shipbuilding.

Eastern Bulk Carriers will be the commercial manager of both vessels, which will be technically managed by WSM in Singapore.

In addition to the two new ships, Stove Shipping has further three Supramaxes, built between 2007 and 2013, in its fleet.

“Stove Shipping and WSM have worked hand in hand like partners for the past 10 years. We have been through the market volatilities together and as the market improves, we hope to ride this momentum together,” Carl Schou, CEO and President of Wilhelmsen Ship Management, said.

Besides the two Supramaxes from Stove, WSM said it has secured more than 40 new vessels into technical management so far this year. While expanding the managed bulk carrier fleet, the company said it was also expanding the managed gas fleet.
