Wood Group Intetech, the world leader in well integrity management solutions, is to take new offices in the Thornton Science Park, Cheshire.
Since Intetech’s acquisition by Wood Group in 2013, the company has seen continued international success, leading to a significant headcount growth. The new offices provide for the current staff numbers and future growth plans.
The Thornton Science Park is a world-class centre of excellence in Cheshire, UK, at the forefront of scientific research and development. Previously the home to the Shell Technology Centre, this new dedicated facility has a legacy of almost 75 years of advanced research. The site is located within the M56/A55 Industrial Innovation Corridor.
WGI Director, Dr. Liane Smith says: “I began my career at the Shell Technology Centre and am delighted to be moving Wood Group Intetech into a site with such a rich history of technological innovation. The redevelopment of the site into the new science park offers the perfect location to be continuing our impressive growth and I am excited to be relocating to the area’s key North West technology hub.”
