WorleyParsons Announces Key Management Changes (Australia)

 

WorleyParsons’ Chief Executive Officer John Grill has announced organizational changes which include the establishment of a new Executive Committee (ExCo) of five leaders. The five key leadership appointments and accountabilities are outlined below.

As previously announced, Andrew Wood has been appointed Group Managing Director – Finance/ CFO effective mid May with overall responsibility for finance as well as the business support functions of Information Management and Risk.

Stuart Bradie has been appointed Group Managing Director – Operations with overall responsibility for the company’s operations in locations across the globe.

Iain Ross has been appointed Group Managing Director – Development with overall responsibility for the company’s four Customer Sector Groups including customer relationship management and business development for major pursuits. Iain will retain his ongoing accountability for Mergers and Acquisitions and Strategy for the Group.

David Steele has been appointed Group Managing Director – Delivery to lead all aspects of project delivery across the globe, whether it is engineering procurement and construction management, program management, engineering procurement and construction, Improve or engineering contracts.

Stuart, Iain and David will progressively move into their new roles in the near future.

Barry Bloch will join WorleyParsons on May 1st 2011 as Group Managing Director – People with overall responsibility for recruiting, leading, developing and engaging our people and evolving and preparing our culture and organization for change. Barry joins WorleyParsons with past experience in both a global leadership and people development role in Rio Tinto as well as from a global professional services background.

John Grill stated: “The WorleyParsons Group has one of the largest international footprints of any of its peers. The ExCo will work with me to manage our customer focused local-global business, with an initial focus on simplifying our organization to facilitate outstanding location-based delivery with effective group-wide support.”
