Yuchai Engines Distributor Opens New Store at Manta Port, Ecuador

On November 19, the inaugural ceremony and thank-you party of the new general store of Yuchai marine engine distributor Vemamotor at Manta Port, Ecuador kicked off.

Apart from Yuchai’s representative and the distributor’s sales and after service teams, the attendees included customers of Yuchai marine engines and their family members, customers of marine engines of other brands, members of the yacht club, Manta’s city councilors, journalists, etc.

At the customer seminar following the ceremony, the attendees exchanged views on the local prospect and use of Yuchai marine engines, and the distributor and customers raised questions and offered advice to Yuchai’s representative. The representative answered the questions, pledging that Yuchai will renew efforts and go all out for presale and after services. Customers responded with greater confidence in Yuchai products.

Located at the confluence of the cold and warm ocean currents in the Pacific, Ecuador waters is a world-famous fishery rich in marine products. After the popularization and promotion efforts over the year, Peru Office has sold 22 YC6T ranging from 450hp to 510hp. The model is primarily used on ocean-going fishing vessels ranging from 20 meters to 28 meters, and has gained unanimous praise from customers due to characteristics including strong power, low fuel consumption and maintenance economy.

Sportmotor, Yuchai marine engine distributor in Chile, also purchased a dozen YC6T, YC6MK and YC6A marine engines for fishing vessels this year. These products are operating in good conditions.

According to Peru Office, the distributor will also import Yuchai YC4F engines for trial operations on small high-speed yachts.
