Zeebrugge books first September LNG cargo

The Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal has booked the first LNG cargo for the month of September.

The Ejnan LNG carrier, with a capacity of 145,000 cbm, departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan port Saturday, August 13. The vessel is scheduled to unload its cargo at the terminal on September 2, the shipping data by the port of Zeebrugge shows.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
