Zeebrugge LNG terminal set for fresh cargo

Belgium’s Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is due to receive a cargo of the chilled gas onboard the 145,800 cbm Al Jassasiya from Qatar on June 25.

The vessel departed from Qatar’s port of Ras Laffan on Saturday and it is currently sailing offshore Oman, shipping data says.

Fluxys LNG, the operator of the Zeebrugge terminal, recently launched a market test to evaluate the appetite for additional capacity at the LNG terminal in the port of Zeebrugge.

In the preliminary phase, Fluxys LNG will evaluate the appetite for small-scale services such as loading small LNG bunker and feeder vessels as well as LNG trailer loading services.
