Zeebrugge set for Qatari LNG cargo

Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive its second LNG cargo for the month of March.

According to the shipping data, the 162,400 cbm BW GDF Suez Brussels LNG carrier has departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan on March 1.

The vessel is scheduled to deliver its cargo to Zeebrugge LNG terminal on March 17.

BW GDF Suez Brussels was built by the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard at Geoje Island in 2009 and is owned and operated by BW Gas.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
