U.S. energy regulator has approved Tellurian’s request to start site preparation work at its $27.5 billion Driftwood liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project in Louisiana.

German LNG Terminal shortlists EPC contractors

German LNG Terminal, the joint venture behind the LNG terminal project in Brunsbuettel, Northern Germany, has completed the EPC contractor pre-qualification process that started at the end of June this year.

Sempra LNG, a unit of Sempra Energy, informed that Cameron LNG has begun producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the second liquefaction train of the export facility in Hackberry, Louisiana.

First cargo departs Freeport LNG Train 2

McDermott International with its partners, Chiyoda International Corporation and Zachry Group, said that the first commissioning cargo has been shipped from Freeports LNG’s Train 2.
