Baker Hughes Incorporated has posted Weekly Rig Count reports to its Investor Relations website, according to which the U.S. offshore rig count remains at 54.

BHI Rig Count: U.S. -43 to 1633 rigs
U.S. Rig Count is down 43 rigs from last week to 1633, with oil rigs down 49 to 1317, gas rigs up 6 to 316, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0.

U.S. Rig Count is down 144 rigs from last year at 1777, with oil rigs down 99, gas rigs down 40, and miscellaneous rigs down 5.

The U.S. Offshore rig count is 54, unchanged from last week, and down 2 rigs year over year.

BHI Rig Count: Canada -8 to 432 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is down 8 rigs from last week to 432, with oil rigs down 11 to 223, and gas rigs up 3 to 209.

Canadian Rig Count is down 158 rigs from last year at 590, with oil rigs down 171, and gas rigs up 13.
