HVS Holds Delivery Signing Ceremony for Bulk Carrier MV South

On 02 March, 2012, Delivery Signing Ceremony for Bulk Carrier having Hull No. S046 was successfully held under attendance of representatives from owner and the Yard. After many difficulties and challenges in the period of shipbuilding industry crisis, “M/V South” -the 1st vessel in the series of eight bulk carriers was officially delivered to ship owner – Geden Lines, Turkey.

The vessel has principal particulars as follows:

– Length of overall: 188 m

– Breadth: 32.26 m

– Depth: 18.3 m

– Speed: 14.5 knots

– Capacity of cargo holds: 70,700 m3

The vessel is effectively operated by the ship owner and ready for her first voyage to Indonesia.
