COSCO Hands Over Three Bulk Carriers to Its Asian Buyers

COSCO Corporation (Singapore), its subsidiary COSCO Shipyard Group Co., has completed delivery of three newbuild Bulk Carriers to its Asian buyers.

The first two bulk carriers of 57.000 DWT, “Wuxing 5” and “APJ SHIRIN” were delivered from the company’s COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard. The third bulk carrier of 92.500 DWT, “OCEAN SAPPHIRE”, was delivered from the company’s COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard.

All the delivery documents were signed by and between the COSCO shipyards and the respective buyer in May 2012.

The bulk carriers of 57.000 DWT measure 189.99 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth while the bulk carrier of 92.500 DWT measures 229.2 meters in LOA (length of all), 38 meters in breadth and 20.7 meters in depth.
