Nevsky Shipyard Takes Part at International Forum Marine Industry of Russia

Nevsky Shipyard, LLC participated at the third International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia”. Nevsky Shipyard, LLC traditionally participated at the third International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia” as a part of collective exposition of Leningrad area.

During 23-25 of May, 2012 the third International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia” took place in the Exhibition Hall “Gostiny Dvor” in Moscow. Among organizers of the Forum were: Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, leading industry associations, Ministries and Agencies in affiliation with the company “MegaExpo”. The Forum was dedicated to the issues of shipbuilding, upgrading of ports, improvement of navigation, introduction of innovative technologies in the fields of marine machinery production and commercial shipbuilding.

Every day the group booth of “Leningrad region” was visited by a big number of registered participants as well as by visitors of the fair who showed great interest in the activities of Nevsky Shipyard. For the visitors of the booth all the conditions were provided. The visitors could get the information about the principal areas of the Shipyard’s business such as shipbuilding, ship repair, modernization and remodelling; information about prospective projects of the Shipyard as well as get answers to questions of interest.

Nevsky Shipyard is located 40 km away from Saint-Petersburg in the town of Schliesselburg on the left bank of the river Neva. The shipyard is one of the oldest enterprises of water transport in the northwest of Russia which started its shipbuilding activity since 1952. Nowadays the shipyard builds sea and river vessels of various types and purposes and carries out ship repair works of all kinds. Slipway for rising of vessels of « Nevsky Shipyard » allows to launch and lift for repairs the vessels up to 140 meters long and dock weight up to 2500 tons.
