Lisnave Repaired 49 Vessels in the First Half of 2012

During the first half of 2012, Lisnave repaired 49 vessels, (six vessels less than in the same period of 2011), from 34 clients located on 16 different countries. Of the 49 ships repaired in the first half of 2012, nine came from Greece, eight from Singapore, six from Cyprus and five from Japan. Repairs were also carried out on four vessels from Germany and Spain and it is also noteworthy that another three came from Denmark and two from England.

Another indicator that it’s important to highlight is the “repeat business” from companies and shipowners around the world who rely on Lisnave’s skills the maintenance of their ships. This illustrates the credibility and confidence of Owners/Managers on the high quality of work provided by the Yard to the vessels repaired.

This period saw vessels coming from important clients as Cyprus’s Unicom Managements Services and AP Moller Maersk A/S, that delivered four vessels each for repair, and Greece’s TSAKOS Columbia Ship management with three hips repaired.

Other important repairs were carried out on vessels Owners/Managed by Euronav Ship management and European Product Carriers (Greece), Executive Ship management and AET Ship management (Singapore), Spain’s Ership SA, V. Ships (Cyprus) and Victoria Ship management (Japan).

By having an accumulated and diversified know-how, Lisnave undertakes work on all types of ships, being the traditional segments the largest providers of work, such as tankers ( 29 vessels) bulk carriers (8 units) containers (6 units) general cargo (2), LNG (2) among a few others.
