HTS Launches Another Handymax Bulker

On 29th Oct. 2012, the 57.000 DWT Bulk carrier (HT098), Jiangsu Hantong ship heavy industry Co., Ltd (HTS) built for Eagle, was successfully launched off from the Hantong shipyard’s slipway No.3.

The vessel is class approved by LR. vice general manager Mr. Zheng Xishan together with the representatives of the ship-owner and the class all attend the ceremony.

Hantong shipyard is experienced in optimizing bulk carrier series with cooperation of friendly design companies and equipment companies. By reducing the power of engine, optimizing the propeller and installing Mewis duct, PBCF devices, performance of vessel is improved, fuel consumptions & pollution emissions is reduced too. The new type 57.000 DWT bulk carrier may save 5.4 ton fuel per day which is commended by the customers.
