China: Dalian Yuchai Turbo Technology Research and Development Center Opened

The inaugural ceremony of Dalian Yuchai Turbo Technology Research and Development Center Co., Ltd. (DYTTRDC) and the establishing ceremony of Yuchai Scholarship took place recently in the Dalian Jiaotong University (DJTU). The company’s establishment marks Yuchai has teamed up with DJTU in an effort to break international turbo technology barrier and build a globally influential turbo technology industry base and a high-tech turbo technology and product circulation base.

The newly-opened center was established with a joint investment of Yuchai Jinchuang Co., Ltd. and DJTU. The company’s businesses cover the fields of turbo products including marine turbocharger, such as design, development, trial-manufacture, sale, technical service and training.

The operation of the center will promote the development of China’s turbo technology industry, create a strong turbocharger and turbo technology R & D platform centering on independent technologies, geared to global cutting-edge technologies, drumming up support from the outside and serving the inside, to shake off China’s dependence on imported high-end turbo products, laying a solider technical foundation for Yuchai to set foot in fields including marine power.
