Samjin Wins Eco-Friendly Chemical Tankers

Anglo-Atlantic Steamship Company Limited has placed an order for two 50,000 dwt, IMO II class, Chemical Tankers from Samjin Shipbuilding Industries Co. Ltd., in China, with options for two more vessels.

The first two vessels are scheduled to be delivered in the second half of 2015, and the two options in the first half of 2016.

The vessels are planned to be constructed with high-efficiency and eco-friendly design, featuring specifications, such as MEWIS Duct, G-Type engine, Exhaust Gas Economizer etc.

Upon delivery, the vessels will be technically and commercially managed by Laurin Maritime.
