USA - Hope Services Shipyard Hands Over Vessel MV Orange

The M/V Orange was delivered to Higman Barge Lines, of Houston, Texas, yesterday. The 78’x34’ vessel left Hope Services Shipyard’s facility en route to Channelview, Texas, where it will pick up its first tow.

The 78’x34’ vessel is the fourth vessel in this class size that Hope Services has built for Higman. It marks the 77th vessel Hope Services has built in its twenty-five year history.

Hope Services, Inc. (HSI) is a major inland vessel fabricator that has been designing and building quality commercial USCG and ABS type vessels for over two decades. In 2011, company won contracts for five (5) new inland waterway vessels. Its reputation has been built over the years on the idea of competitive pricing, quality ship building and unsurpassed dedication to delivery dates. Current delivery time for new vessel construction is five (5) months.
