Thailand: Tevin Vongvanich Takes PTTEP Driving Seat

Thailand’s oil and gas company PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP announces the appointment of Mr. Tevin Vongvanich as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) replacing Mr. Anon Sirisaengtaksin who will be transferred to be CEO of PTT Global Chemical according to periodic management rotation and the resolution of PTT and PTTEP’s Board of Directors, effective on 1 May 2012 onward.

Mr. Tevin has experience in Petroleum Industry for more than 25 years. He had worked for PTTEP since 1989. In 1995, he became Vice President Corporate Planning and New Ventures. During 1999 – 2002, he was Senior Vice President responsible for various assignments: New Projects, Operations and Regional Assets Divisions respectively. In 2004, he was seconded to PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) as Executive Vice President of Corporate Business Development. In 2008, He successfully stepped up to be Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Development. One year later, he was appointed to be Chief of Financial Officer (CFO) of PTT and also Board of Director of PTTEP. As a resolution of PTT and PTTEP’s Board of Directors recently, He was appointed to be President and CEO of PTTEP effective on 1 May 2012.

Mr. Tevin graduated in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (1st Honors) from Chulalongkorn University and two Masters of Chemical Engineering from Rice University and Petroleum Engineering from University of Houston.
