Bourbon Workers Released from Captivity (Nigeria)

France-based owner of offshore support vessels, Bourbon, has confirmed that the 7 crew members, kidnapped from the Bourbon Liberty 249 vessel in Nigeria, on October 15, 2012 were released today.

The company informed that 7 crew members, 6 Russians and 1 Estonian, all appear to be in good health.

“For reasons of confidentiality and in order to preserve the privacy of the families, no information will be given about the demands, the context, the released crewmembers and their families,” Bourbon said in a press release, adding that it would not make any further comments on the matter.
