Island Offshore Secures PSV Charter Deal with BP (Norway)

BP Norge AS, the Norwegian subsidiary of UK’s oil giant BP, has decided to extend a contract for the Island Chieftain Platform Supply Vessel.

According to Island Offshore, the owner of the vessel, the Island Chieftain has again proven the UT 776 design by being awarded a 5-year contract.

The MV Island Chieftain, built by STX OSV BREVIK in 2009, has been a part of BPN’s pool since February 2010.
