Farstad expands fleet with new AHTS vessel

Norwegian offshore shipping player Farstad Shipping has expanded its fleet with a new Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel.

The Far Sigma anchor handler has today, Monday, February 10, been delivered from Vard Langsten to Farstad Supply AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Farstad Shipping ASA. The 87,4m long vessel will trade the spot market in the North Sea.

In April this year, Farstad expects to take delivery of the Far Sirius vessel, of the same  UT 731 CD design as the Far Sigma.
