EGS Americas Appoints New Technical Director & VP

 

EGS Americas Inc announces that it has enhanced the subsea survey capabilities with the recent addition of Mr. Shannon Frame.

Mr. Frame brings with him fifteen years of offshore construction support, subsea positioning, geophysical survey and project management experience covering several disciplines. Mr. Frame will hold the position of Technical Director/VP of EGS Americas’ Panama Office in order to expand EGS’ presence and apply his knowledge of offshore subsea positioning and construction support services in the Americas Region. He will be based permanently in Panama in order to explore and support opportunities in the Offshore Construction, Oil &Gas and Telecommunication sectors as well as support other EGS Group companies worldwide.

Mr. Frame started his career at the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) West coast region, and for three years did comprehensive field work. He has extensive hands-on and working knowledge of hydrographic and subsea positioning equipment and procedures currently in use throughout the industry. He has worked extensively on subsea cable route and oil field in several capacities from Data Processor to Party Chief to Client Representative. He also served the Gulf of Mexico Oil and Gas markets as Offshore Manager for clients such as Technip USA, and most recently Project Manager for Helix Subsea Construction.
