Theon Limited Opens New Office in London, UK

Aberdeen based engineering consultancy Theon Limited has marked a successful first year in business with the opening of a new office in London, a year ahead of schedule.

Steve Rowbottom, Managing Director at Theon, said: “We have had an extremely successful year of trading and the new office in Chiswick Park will play a vital role in our continuing growth strategy. Not only will it allow us to forge stronger relationships with clients based in the London area, but it will support our Aberdeen customers with a wider range of resources and with conceptual subsea and topsides studies capability.

“The London office will also provide us with a platform for supporting international clients – particularly for major greenfield and brownfield projects. The skills held across both offices will allow for greater access to expertise in the provision of process engineering, field development, engineering consultancy support, pipeline design, and execution of early phase studies for subsea, topside and onshore projects.”

Since launching in February 2012, the company has successfully completed over 100 assignments and its annual turnover is expected to top £3 million this year. With a range of prospective clients across the globe, the firm looks set to secure a number of contracts in 2013 to add to its existing 12 call off contracts with contractors and operators.

The Westhill based firm, which currently has a 60 man office in Westhill, already has an impressive client portfolio, including Enquest, BG Group, TAQA, Kellogg Brown & Root Limited, Bechtel Limited and CB&I.

With a collective 200 years’ experience across the team of directors, Theon has extensive knowledge across a wide range of engineering disciplines and offers consultancy services to support operators and contractors on a global scale.
