The transaction was arranged by ABN Amro on behalf of Dutch shipping company Anthony Veder as a European private placement to finance the building the 18,000 cubic metre Ice Class 1A Super LNG carrier Coral EnergICE, which uses the boil off of its cargo to fuel the propulsion of the vessel, stands in the statement issued on Friday.

The 18,000 cbm vessel will be built at German shipyard Neptun Werft and delivered during the last quarter of 2017. It will serve under a long-term charter deal with Gasum’s unit Skangas.
