China: March LNG Imports Climb YoY

China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 1.26 million tons of liquefied natural gas in March, up 11.6 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.

Most of the March LNG deliveries were shipped from Qatar, followed by Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Yemen and Nigeria.

China’s LNG imports reached 4.17 million tons in January-March, up 28.3% on year.
