Klaipedos Nafta Seeks LNG to Test Terminal

Klaipedos Nafta is looking to buy up to 170,000 cubic meters of LNG on a spot basis in order to test Lithuania’s first LNG terminal, which is expected to come online in December, Reuters informs.

Klaipedos Nafta has signed a 10-year deal with Norway’s Hoegh LNG to lease an FSRU which will serve as an import terminal at the Baltic Sea port city of Klaipeda.

The company expects to pay up to $44 million for the test LNG shipment.
