A2SEA Appoints New Vice President for Commercial
As of 1 October 2014, A2SEA has employed Henri Schumann as its new Vice President for Commercial.
Henri Schumann has previously held the position as Branch Manager at Nordex Ener-gy GmbH in Kolding, where he was responsible for sales in Denmark, the Baltics and key accounts in Norway.
Responsible for Key Account Management, Tenders & Contracts and Marketing, Henri Schumann’s in-depth sales and marketing experience will benefit A2SEA’s full range of installation, cable and service projects – and in particular, the sales process.
Henri Schumann has a Master of Science in Business Administration and Modern Lan-guages (Cand.Merc.Int) and a lengthy career in the wind energy industry. In previous roles, he managed sales for market leading turbine manufacturers including NEG Micon, Vestas, Suzlon (in Denmark and China), and most recently Nordex (Australia and Denmark).
In recent months, the commercial side of A2SEA’s business has been driven by CEO Jens Frederik Hansen, who welcomes the new reinforcements:
“With Henri joining us, we can increase our strong and meticulous focus on the needs and expectations of our customers. And via a more focused sales process, we will be able to bring our know-how earlier to the table to help developers and operators opti-mise every aspect of installation, operations and maintenance tasks.”
