ABS to Present LNG Bunkering Report at U.S. Conference

Classification society ABS said that their Vice President for Global Gas Solution, Patrick Janssens, will present a report titled “Bunkering of Liquefied Natural-Gas Fueled Marine Vessels in North America” at CMA’s Shipping 2014.

The report, developed by ABS and ABS Group, provides a framework for addressing regulatory requirements related to LNG bunkering across North America.

This includes a broad look at the requirements that have been put in place by various regulatory bodies such as the IMO, US Coast Guard, Transport Canada, US Environmental Protection Agency, and the many state and local authorities that may impact a bunkering project.
