Advanced Disposal opens Macon CNG station

Advanced Disposal recently opened its seventh CNG fueling station at its hauling facility in Macon, Georgia.

Fifteen of the company’s trucks fill up at the station, and Advanced Disposal CEO Richard Burke said 12 percent of the company’s fleet runs on compressed natural gas.

Burke added that by the end of 2015, Advanced Disposal will have 15 percent of its fleet running on compressed natural gas.

The Macon CNG station was a $1.6 million investment and is the only multi-truck CNG station in the metro area.
