Afai Southern Splashes NAN HAI JIU 202

Coastal fast rescue vessel NAN HAI JIU 202, built by Afai Southern Shipyard for Rescue & Salvage Bureau of China’s Ministry of Transport was launched successfully on November 4th.

The Deputy Director General of Nanhai Rescue Bureau Mr. Wuhui, supervision team of shipowner, representatives of CCS Guagnzhou branch and the leaders of Afai jointly witnessed the launching of the vessel.

The NAN HAI JIU 202 pertains to the southern type and it is the sixth coastal fast rescue vessel contracted by Afai to join the Nanhai Rescue Bureau. The vessel is a full aluminum wave-piercing catamaran, propelled by twin engines and twin waterjets, with large deck area, fine navigability, high speed and maneuverability.

She has a capacity to carry a maximum of 200 rescued people, and meets the relevant requirements of the CCS rules on rescue vessels and aluminum high speed vessels.
