Akdeniz Shipyard Delivers Two Split Hopper Barges

After last week’s launch of two new 1500 m3 split hopper barges, Akdeniz Shipyard successfully completed the project and delivered the vessels to a Dutch Company on May 10th.

Vessels were built under BV class and with Ice Class Notation.

Akdeniz Shipyard, established in 2007 in the southern part of Turkey in the Ceyhan-Yumurtalık region, holds the distinction of being the largest shipyard in Turkey and Eastern Mediterranean in terms of area and capacity.
