Akdeniz Shipyard Floats Out Two Split Hopper Barges

Akdeniz Shipyard has successfully launched two 1500 m3 split hopper barges built for a European owner. The shipyard, established in 2007 in the southern part of Turkey in the Ceyhan-Yumurtalık region, managed to launch the barges in just a few months time, having in mind that the construction began in February 2013.

Vessels are being built under BV class with Ice Class Notation and will be delivered to the owner later this year.
