Aker BP Re-Elects Board Members

Aker BP, a Norway-based E&P company, has re-elected board of directors during the corporate assembly held on Wednesday.

Anne Marie Cannon and Kjell Inge Røkke were re-elected as board members with a term of office of up to two years.

Cannon is a non-executive director of Premier Oil and of STV Group. She holds a BSc Honours Degree from Glasgow University.

Røkke has been a driving force in the development of Aker since the 1990s. He is chairman of Aker and a member on the boards of Aker Solutions, Kværner, Akastor, Aker BP and Ocean Yield.

In addition, Murray Auchincloss, Upstream chief financial officer and head of Business Development at BP, was elected as a deputy member of the board of directors.
