ALE adds offshore barge transportation to its marine service offering
Global heavylift specialist ALE is expanding into full offshore barge transportation market which also encompasses brokering, chartering and hire, as well as full turnkey marine operations.
ALE said on Monday that the services will be provided by the company’s own fleet, that includes 250′, 300′ and 400′ class barges and ALE’s Hydro Deck pontoon, as well as in partnership with suppliers.
Darren Adams, ALE Director in the UK, said: “By enhancing our overall marine capabilities and offering a full barge package, it compliments what we already do. Teamed with our Marine Engineering division, we are proud to provide an end-to-end service.“
The new barge fleet is an addition to the company’s turnkey service, which includes services from engineering and project management to the design of specific solutions including ramps, grillages, sea fastening, winches and ballast pumps.
