AMEC Aims to Increase Its Presence in Brazil with Participation at Accelerate Oil & Gas

Since Accelerate Oil & Gas 2013 almost reached a full – house attendance, the event team recently confirmed support of AMEC, internationally recognised company with over 160 years of history, world’s leader in engineering, project management and consulting in oil & gas, mining, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets.

With acquisition of 50 per cent stake in Kromav Engenharia Ltda (KROMAV), a privately owned Brazilian offshore oil and gas and marine engineering company, AMEC is increasing its presence in Brazil. Furthermore, AMEC aims to strengthen its position by participating at the 2nd edition of Accelerate Oil & Gas which will be taking place in the Windsor Barra Hotel – Rio de Janeiro, on 21 and 22 May and will be highlighted in the special session “Exploration & production of Pre-Salt and government auctions” hosted by Brazilian Institute of Petroleum (IBP).

The 2nd edition of the Accelerate Oil & Gas is expecting to increase the volume of new business opportunities at the event through business round-table networking sessions which is organised in partnership with SEBRAE where major anchor companies (operators) aim to purchase services of suppliers from SEBRAE-Petrobras system.
