Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya with a cargo from Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex is on its way to the UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal.

According to the shipping data by the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 266,000-cbm carrier is scheduled to dock at South Hook terminal’s jetty on September 11.

This will be the fifth Q-Max in a row to deliver a cargo to South Hook and the second vessel in three days as another Q-Max carrier, the Umm Slal, is scheduled to unload its cargo on September 8.

National Grid’s data shows that gas flows from the Milford Haven LNG terminal into the national transmission system have been at around 50 mcm/day during the morning hours of September 6.

The terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
