Applied LNG: construction progressing on Midlothian plant

Applied LNG, producer and distributor of the chilled gas for alternative fuel use in North America, is moving forward with the construction of its LNG plant in Midlothian, Texas.

The company has on Thursday received the delivery of the tanks to be installed at the Midlothian plant.

Applied LNG started construction on the first of six liquefaction trains of its Midlothian plant on February 9.

The first liquefaction train is expected to be completed in mid-2015. This will be the company’s third liquefier along with the two currently in operation in Topock, Arizona, and will increase Applied LNG’s production capacity to 258,000 LNG gallons per day.
