Arrow Recommences Work in Beaudesert Region

Today, Arrow Energy staff and contractors returned to the coal seam gas (CSG) exploration well site at Mt Lindesay near Beaudesert.

After standard safety checks were completed, staff recommenced work on the well about 9am, preparing to install the first string of casing which will then be cemented into place.

It is anticipated the well in the Mt Lindesay/Beaudesert region will be completed within a matter of days.

Exploration drilling aims to provide information about the area’s geology, potential coal seams and groundwater.

Exploration wells are not designed, or able to, pump CSG or underground water to the surface. Hence, there is no impact on underground water as a result of exploration drilling.
