Augean CEO Joins Decom North Sea Board

Augean, one of the UK’s leading specialist waste management businesses, has informed that its CEO, Dr Stewart Davies, has been appointed to the Board of Decom North Sea, the offshore oil & gas supply chain forum established to formulate effective contracting strategies for the forthcoming decommissioning programme in the North Sea which is projected to cost £30 billion.

Decom North Sea was set up in April 2009 as a not-for-profit company, with a Board of Directors drawn from North Sea service companies, contractors, operators and decommissioning specialists. Dr Davies joins other industry experts on the Board, with representatives from multinational companies including Halliburton, Marathon Oiland Wood Group.
Through its joint venture, Augean North Sea Services, Augean has established a robust position at the forefront of the provision of specialist waste management services to the North Sea oil and gas industry and continues to invest in new facilities and equipment to support its growing range of activities.

Davies said “I am delighted to have been elected to the Board of Decom North Sea and look forward to working with my fellow Board members during this exciting time for the North Sea decommissioning supply chain.”
