Australia: Apache’s Production at Stag Oil Field Shut as a Result of Cyclone Bianca

Apache Corporation said that production has been shut-in at the Stag oil field and the BHP Billiton-operated Pyrenees floating production, storage and offloading vessel as a result of Tropical Cyclone Bianca.

As a result of repeated cyclone-related downtime, repairs to the production facility for the Van Gogh oil field off the coast of Western Australia are now expected to be completed by the end of the first week of February, with production expected to resume soon afterwards.
